FYF Peer Leader Information Session

Are you interested in gaining teaching experience and also working with first year students? If so, apply to become a 2009 Peer Leader for a First Year Florida class!Paired with a UF faculty or staff member, Peer Leaders help facilitate classroom discussions, conduct presentations on course topics, plan out-of-class activities, and serve as role models for new students. Peer Leaders gain leadership and public speaking skills, as well as the unique opportunity to teach undergraduate students in a small classroom setting. Open to all full-time undergraduate students with at least a 2.75 GPA.

Please plan to attend one of three information sessions to learn more about this position:

December 8, Reitz Union 285, 5-6pm

January 8, Institute of Black Culture, 5-6pm

January 14, Broward Hall Library, 5-6pm
