Shands Eastside Community Relations and Education Coordination Spring Internship
Shands Eastside Community Relations and Education Coordination is seeking full or part time interns. You will have the opportunity to work with Lay Health Educators, The Senior Citizen’s Health Fair, Take a Loved One to The Doctor Day, Love Your Heart Sunday and many other Heath Education Events.Interns are responsible for the coordination and facilitation of health events, marketing, networking, brochure development and evaluation of events. Qualities that are needed to excel as an intern are: hardworking, creative, computer literate, quick thinker, excellent communication and organizational skills as well as able to take on any challenge. This internship is non-compensated. The internship is flexible however, there will be MANDATORY intern meetings Wednesdays at 12pm—1pm, every week. If you are unable to attend these meetings then please do not apply. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
