Gator Times

Each summer, Recurso organizes an international service trip to take 25 – 30 University of Florida students to Nicaragua.  Participants work to implement a variety of projects to assist those living in extreme poverty. These include a Dental Hygiene Campaign, Clean Water Initiative, Medical Supplies Drive, and Construction Projects at local orphanages and schools. Members also take time to travel the country and gain a better understanding of the culture and beauty of Nicaragua.Applications for the 2009 Service Trip are now available on the Recurso website: www.grove.ufl.edu/~recurso The deadline for submissions is December 5, 2008.
