In celebration of the anticipated release of the new MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition, fans at UF, as well enthusiasts worldwide, will unite on August 27, 2008 in an attempt to set a World Record for the most people ever playing MONOPOLY at the same time.Here at UF the event will be held Wednesday morning on the Reitz Union South Terrace from 9:30 am to 11 am. Players must be present between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to be counted for the world record. The UF chapter of PRSSA, the Public Relations Student Society of America, will be hosting the event, which is free of charge.
