Beware of Phishing Scams
The UF community is a prime target for phishing scams. Scammers are constantly adapting their tactics to bypass our filters.User awareness is key. To protect your identity:NEVER respond to email asking for your personal information, even if appears to come from UF IT workers.
NEVER follow links found in email. Manually enter the web site name or use your favorite search engine.
NEVER provide your password to ANYONE.
ACT IMMEDIATELY. First change your password, then contact the UF Helpdesk at 352.392.HELP or helpdesk@ufl.edu.
REPORT PHISHING SCAMS to abuse@ufl.edu.
