Muslim-Jewish Interfaith Dialogue

Internationally renowned religious leaders and scholars will speak at an event entitled “Interfaith Dialogue: Jews and Muslims Envisioning the Future Together” will be held on Monday, April 7, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Reitz Union Auditorium. Featured speakers are: Imam Senad Agic, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center of Greater Chicago; Rabbi Daniel Sherbill of Adas Yehuda v’Shoshana synagogue in Northbrook, Illinois; Mohamed Elsanousi, the Director of Communications and Community Outreach for the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA); and Rabbi Burton L. Visotzky, Professor of Midrash and Interreligious Studies at The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. A question and answer period will follow the formal presentation. Refreshments will be served. This event is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and is the final event of Religious and Spiritual Diversity Week, and is co-sponsored by Hillel, Islam on Campus and the Jewish Student Union.
