The VA Eye Clinic is currently accepting applications for the Pre-Optometry Internship. Interns will be required to make an 8-hour weekly commitment to the program. Interns will have the opportunity to administer ancillary testing such as Humphrey Visual Fields, ocular photography, pachymetry, GDx and RNFL scans on patients visiting the clinic. There are also many opportunities to eventually begin independent research study, observe optometrists, residents and externs during patient visits and pursue leadership positions within the program. The internship program is conducted under the supervision of Dr. Anna Wong, OD.
