Hunger and Homelessness Week
The Center for Leadership and Service invites you to participate in events for this year’s Hunger and Homelessness Week, November 13-18.
The Center for Leadership and Service needs volunteers for certain events. Please contact Christina (caburn3@ufl.edu) if you are interested in participating.
Schedule:
Tues 13th, Tabling information at Reitz collonade.
Wed 14th, Service project coordinated by the Center for Leadership and Service Ambassadors.
Thurs 15th, Passing out information at Krishna lunch and hosting a panel of speakers at the Institute of Hispanic-Latino Cultures from 7-9 pm.
Fri 16th, Theatre Strike Force performance at night. People will bring canned food to donate.
Sun 18th, Clean up of tent city service project with Keep Alachua County Beautiful.
The center will also be collecting food for local food banks all week.
