The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and SecureFlorida.org are bringing a free, half-day seminar on safe computing practices to the UF Reitz Union. C-SAFE: Cyber-Security Awareness for Everyone.

This awarding-winning seminar is geared toward the every-day computer user to teach ways for users to protect their identity, finances and other sensitive data. Topics include viruses, worms and spyware; how to handle e-mail spam, fraud and hoaxes; identity theft, and passwords; and additional security information about networks and firewalls.
