ACCENT Presents an Evening with Mia Farrow
ACCENT Speakers Bureau along with RECURSO, UF Human Rights Awareness, and the Civic Media Center announces Mia Farrow, famed actress and world humanitarian, will speak at the University of Florida on April 11. The show will be held at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and will begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:15 p.m. The show is free and open to the public, and seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Farrow will use her role in Darfur as a guide for her speech entitled, “With Knowledge Comes Responsibility: Saving Darfur.” Farrow will highlight her goals as ambassador as well as the importance of helping this cause.
