Stomp Out Sickle Cell 5K Walk/Run
Sickle Cell Disease is a very common genetic disorder among African-Americans due to its connection with areas that suffer from malaria endemic. The Black Student Union wants to actively participate in making advances for Sickle Cell Disease research. Help us raise funds and awareness about the disease by participating in our inaugural 5k walk/ run on Saturday, March 3, 2007. Come to Commuter Lot 5 at 8 a.m. with your walking or running shoes on. Individual registration is $10 in advance and $15 the day of. Group registraion is $45 for five participants. Registration forms are available in the BSU office or via the list serv.
