Peer Leader Selection Information Sessions
Are you interested in gaining teaching experience and also working with first year students? If so, apply to become a 2007 Peer Leader for a First Year Florida class! Paired with a UF faculty or staff member, Peer Leaders help facilitate classroom discussions, conduct presentations on course topics, plan out-of-class activities, and serve as role models for new students. Peer Leaders gain leadership and public speaking skills, as well as the unique opportunity to teach undergraduate students in a small classroom setting. Open to all full-time undergraduate students with at least a 2.75 GPA. Please plan to attend one of three information sessions to learn more about this opportunity:
December 5th, Reitz Union 286, 5-6pm
January 10th, Institute of Hispanic-Latino Culture, 5-6pm
January 11th, Broward Hall Library, 5-6pm
Applications will be available December 5th and they are due January 19th by 4:30pm.
