Filed under Leadership on September 29, 2006.

Are you a freshman engineering student interested in leadership? The Engineering Ambassadors, the official representatives of the College of Engineering, have created the Freshmen Leadership Engineering Group (FLEG). FLEG is a highly selective organization designed to provide hands on leadership experience to freshmen engineering students. FLEG students will work with guidance from the Engineering Ambassadors to host the Engineering Leadership Forum, an event which brings underclassmen together with engineering companies in an effort to prepare students for an engineering career.

The FLEG application is available in Weil 312 or at http://www.ambassadors.eng.ufl.edu/. Completed applications should be turned into Ms. Margie Williams in Weil 312 and will be accepted until October 9th at 4pm. All applicants are required to go to a Meet and Greet on Monday, October 9th from 8:30-9:30pm in Hume Classroom 119. Dress is business casual and refreshments will be served. If you have any questions, please contact Matthew Denman at ramstein@ufl.edu.
