Black Student Welcome Week 2006 is here! The theme for this year’s week is “Coming to UF.” Here is the schedule of events:

Monday August 28th: “What is that…Velvet?” Tabling with Cake on the Set - 11 am at Turlington Plaza!

Tuesday August 29: “Queen 2 Be” Black Student Assembly and Resource Fair. Resource Fair begins at 6 pm in the 2nd Floor Lobby of Reitz Union (outside the Grand Ballroom). Black Student Assembly begins at 7 pm in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom. Come early to get a seat!

Wednesday August 30: “An Evening in Zemunda” Institute of Black Culture (IBC) Open House and Faculty/Student Mixer Starts at 6 pm at the IBC, located at 1510 W University Ave.

Thursday August 31: “Sexual Chocolate” Sex Education Forum with special guest speaker Condom Miranda - 7 pm in Murphree Commons.
