2006-2007 Reitz Scholars Announced
Thirty undergraduate students have been selected to participate in the J. Wayne Reitz Scholarship Program for 2006-07. These undergraduates were selected for their outstanding achievements in Leadership, Community Service and Academic Excellence while at the University of Florida. Each scholar will be paired with a mentor from the staff or faculty of the university and participate in regular programs throughout the year to connect them to each other and learn more about the University of Florida and its role as a leader in the nation and the world. Reitz Scholars also receive a scholarship of $2,500 for the 2006-07 academic year. The cohort for each year is selected at the conclusion of spring semester.
